Database Developer

As a DB Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and improving Microsoft SQL Server databases. You will also manage SSIS packages, troubleshoot errors, and ensure the seamless operation of our database systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database management and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring they are optimized and efficient.
• Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize SSIS packages to ensure smooth data integration processes.
• Perform database performance tuning, error handling, and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
• Implement and maintain efficient data management processes for large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly.
• Monitor database health and proactively address potential issues before they impact system performance.
• Document all changes, updates, and fixes to the database systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in a similar role.
• Strong experience in SSIS package maintenance, optimization, and error handling.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL.
• PostgreSQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation is a bonus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve database-related issues efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
